Injury by sex

Since 2005, the percentage of injuries at work related to repetitive movements has been increasing. However, there is no significant difference between men and women.

Definition: Repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) are measured by an affirmative answer to the question (“In the past 12 months, did you have any injuries due to repetitive strain that were serious enough to limit your normal activities?”), combined with the item answer “Working at a job” to the question (“What were you doing when you were injured?”).
